Description
The Process was actually quite simple. I stretched and gesso'ed my own canvases, then spray painted sections of bold accent colors. After that, I drew out the images over the canvas, then traced over them with an enamel paint pen. Then I went in with oil pastel and applied them like crayons, afterwards brushing them out with turpenoid to blend. I then went back in with Black enamel paint to fill in the larger sections.
Each painting corresponds to the accent color and all the painting range in various sizes, although they are all relatively small. I used a series of B&W photos for the girls. There was going to be a 6th painting, but I choose to stick with the 5 at the end for a myriad of reasons.
